Cool Deals is an adware browser program, that displays pop-up ads and advertisements on web pages. The “Ads by Cool Deals” advertisements will be shown as various coupons, as underlined keywords, pop-up ads or advertising banners. Cool Deals is advertised as software that displays coupons for sites you are visiting and competitive prices when you are viewing product pages at sites like eBay, Walmart and Amazon. While in concept this may sound useful, the Cool Deals malware is very intrusive and displays ads whether you want them to or not and in many cases displays advertisements that open your PC to serious security risks through malvertising. In addition, many of the merchants used are shady at best and may sell or disclose your personal information such as credit cards details to third-parties.
